Hi, my name is Valko. I'm a staffordshire bull terrier. I was born on the 3rd of July 2020. Right in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.
I was one of nine puppies. I was one of the shyer ones to begin with but it wasn't long before I found my courage and started to come out of my shell. when I was 9 weeks old i was taken to live with another family. they seemed okay. They kept wanting to hug me, which was a bit of a chore as I just wanted to bite. I loved biting! I'd bite hands, feet, trousers, cushions, anything really. But mostly the two labradors that had got there before me. I just loved it!
They had a nice big den for me to sleep in so I felt secure. They fed me 3 times a day but I had ways of getting more out of them. Just sit and stare really, didn't take much.
I was with them for about a week when one of them seemed to notice i didn't ever respond when they called. He then started acting weird. Sneaking up behind me and squeezing this weird duck thing. I didn't notice he was there until he tapped me on the back. He wasn't to know I couldn't hear anything, but I was okay with it. I didn't know any different. Then it got really weird, he kept tapping me twice on the back then making all these weird hand movements. I had no clue what he was doing but I thought "what the hell, he feeds me, i guess I can humour him a little".
So this is my journey, some of my adventures and how I trained this family to live with me even if I can't hear a word they are saying.
